This
desk illustrates just how personalized a custom desk can become.
The proud owner of this desk required a sophisticated, functional
and aesthetically pleasing workstation with provisions for a
hidden cpu and keyboard drawer, printer and subtle cord grommets
in the top for multiple cables.
The
end result was a 7' x 8' working environment that became
a powerful architectural element in the home. His choice
of Honduran mahogany with book matched flame mahogany cross
banded in bubinga and accented with Fleur de Lis inlays gives
his unique version of a desk a more formal character in keeping
with a French design theme.
